Adi-līlā, Chapter 17, Text 171

সহজে যবন–শাস্ত্রে অদৃঢ় বিচার ।
হাসি’ তাহে মহাপ্রভু পুছেন আর বার ॥১৭১ ॥

sahaje yavana-śāstre adṛḍha vicāra
hāsi’ tāhe mahāprabhu puchena āra-vāra

Translation

“The reasoning and arguments in the scriptures of the meat-eaters are not very sound,” the Kazi concluded. Upon hearing this statement, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu smiled and inquired from him as follows.”
