‘নার’–শব্দে কহে সর্বজীবের নিচয় ।
‘অয়ন’–শব্দেতে কহে তাহার আশ্রয় ॥ ৩৮ ॥

‘nāra’-śabde kahe sarva jīvera nicaya
‘ayana’-śabdete kahe tāhāra āśraya
‘ayana’-śabdete kahe tāhāra āśraya

Translation
“The word ‘nāra’ refers to the aggregate of all the living beings, and the word ‘ayana’ refers to the refuge of them all.”
