ঐশ্বর্য-মদে মত্ত ইন্দ্র, — যেন মাতোয়াল ।
বুদ্ধিনাশ হৈল, কেবল নাহিক সাম্ভাল ॥ ১৩৮ ॥

buddhi-nāśa haila, kevala nāhika sāmbhāla

Translation
“Indra, the King of heaven, being too proud of his heavenly opulences, became like a madman. Thus bereft of his intelligence, he could not restrain himself from speaking nonsensically about Kṛṣṇa.”
