‘গৌড়’ সব রথ টানে করিয়া আনন্দ ।
ক্ষণে শীঘ্র চলে রথ, ক্ষণে চলে মন্দ ॥ ২৭ ॥

kṣaṇe śīghra cale ratha, kṣaṇe cale manda

Translation
The pullers of the car were known as gauḍas, and they pulled with great pleasure. However, the car sometimes went very fast and sometimes very slow.
