বহুত উৎকণ্ঠা তাঁর, কর্যাছে বিনয় ।
তোমা-সনে এই সন্ধি, নাহি যুদ্ধ-ভয় ॥’ ১৭৩ ॥

bahuta utkaṇṭhā tāṅra, karyāche vinaya
tomā-sane ei sandhi, nāhi yuddha-bhaya’

Translation
“The Muslim governor is very eager, and he has submitted this petition with great respect. It is a proposal for peace. You need not fear that we will fight.”
